Wellness
Is this relevant to you?

Exosome treatment for pain, ortho, wound careand wellness goals.

Exosome therapy may support your body’s own repair and regeneration. The first step is a clinician evaluation of your specific goal — here are the goals we evaluate, and what we review before recommending a route.

Goals we evaluate

Non-surgical exosome support for pain, orthopedic, recovery and wellness goals.

  • Arthritis and osteoarthritis, joint & cartilage degeneration.
  • Back & disc concerns, knee, hip, shoulder & rotator cuff.
  • Tendon & ligament concerns and sports injuries.
  • Foot & heel pain, hammertoes and neuropathy.
  • Chronic inflammation and pain-management goals.
  • Wound care and wound-healing support; athletic recovery and endurance.

These are goals we evaluate — not promises of a cure. Whether exosome therapy fits is decided case by case at your evaluation.

What Skylake evaluates

What Skylake reviews before recommending a route.

  • Your health history and current medications.
  • Prior imaging, where relevant to your concern.
  • Wound status, for wound-care goals.
  • Labs, if your clinician needs them.
  • Your treatment goals and what success would look like.

If exosome therapy isn’t the right step for you, we’ll tell you plainly. The evaluation is the first appointment — not a commitment to treatment.

What are exosomes

What are exosomes, andhow do they work?

Exosomes are tiny extracellular vesicles that cells release to communicate — instruction packets carrying growth factors, cytokines, peptides, and RNA between cells. They deliver these signals to damaged areas to help reduce inflammation and stimulate repair and regeneration. Some are derived from mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs); here the focus stays on the exosomes themselves, not stem cell therapy.

Step 01 · Release

Cells release exosomes

Nanovesicles cells release to communicate — tiny instruction packets carrying growth factors, peptides, and RNA. Not a substance that simply sits on the surface.

Step 02 · Signal

They carry the message

Exosomes act as cell-to-cell messengers, delivering their signals to target cells and tissue — the biological basis for how regenerative protocols are designed.

Step 03 · Support

Tissue responds over time

The aim is to support the body’s own repair and regeneration signaling — a process that develops over weeks and months, not hours, and varies from person to person.

Straight talk

Exosomes deliver concentrated regenerative signals thatmay supportyour body’s own repair — not a cure, and not an instant fix.

Whether exosome therapy is appropriate for your specific goal is determined by a licensed clinician at evaluation. We discuss the goal, what can and cannot be expected, and the route — IV or local — that fits. Stem cells and MSCs are mentioned only as the source context behind the exosomes, never as the service sold here.See our stem cell therapy page →

What is Wharton’s Jelly?

Larisa Turetsky explains
Source, screening & handling

Wharton’s Jelly-derived MSC exosomes, ethically sourced from US donors.

We use medical-gradeWharton’s Jelly-derived exosomesfrom human umbilical cord Wharton’s Jelly-derived mesenchymal stem cells (hUC-WJ-MSCs), ethically sourced exclusively from qualified US donors. Not plant-based extracts. Not adipose (fat-derived) substitutes. No embryonic stem cells. The source determines the dose, the consistency, and what we can document.

The cleaner the source, the cleaner the signal. Wharton’s Jelly is as close to a blank regenerative slate as cellular biology gets.
What we use

What we won’t

Exosomes vs. stem cells:exosomes are the cell-free signaling vesicles that stem cells release — so exosome therapy delivers the regenerative signals without transplanting the cells themselves. IV route

IV exosome therapyin Miami.

IV exosome therapy is a route that may be considered for wellness and broader regeneration-support goals, when appropriate after evaluation. It’s not a disease treatment and not a cure — your clinician decides whether it fits your goal, and what a sensible plan looks like.

Step 01 · Intake

Evaluation & intake

Your clinician reviews history, medications, and goals to confirm whether IV exosome therapy is appropriate for you.

Step 02 · Treatment visit

The treatment visit

If appropriate, the IV is administered in-clinic by the clinical team, with monitoring throughout the visit.

Step 03 · Follow-up

Monitoring & follow-up

You leave with follow-up instructions and our aftercare check-ins — outcomes are reviewed against your goals, not promised in advance.

Local route

Local exosome injections forback, knee, hip and shoulder concerns.

Local exosome injections are minimally invasive and placed directly at the area of concern — including intra-articular (in-joint) injections for knee, hip and shoulder — and evaluated case by case. Whether imaging, prior records, or a physical exam are needed is confirmed at your evaluation.

Cost & timeline

Exosome therapy cost, sessionsand results timeline.

Session count and timeline depend on your route, goal, history, and follow-up plan — so instead of a misleading “starting at” price, here’s what actually moves them. You receive a written quote after evaluation.

What affects cost

  • Route — IV exosome therapy vs. local injections.
  • Your treatment goal and the area involved.
  • Number of sessions your clinician recommends.

Exosome therapy FAQ

Candid answers —even the awkward ones.

If you don’t see your question, call us at (305) 735-2022. Two minutes on the phone usually beats fifteen of reading.

Are exosomes legitimate, or just hype?
Exosomes are naturally occurring extracellular vesicles that cells use to communicate — that biology has been studied for years. The clinical use of exosome therapy is newer, and the evidence is encouraging rather than definitive. There are currently no FDA-approved stem cell or exosome therapies, and we don’t claim otherwise: this is signaling-based regenerative support that may help, not a cure, and a licensed clinician decides whether it fits your goal.
What type of exosome therapy do you offer?
Two core routes: IV exosome therapy, which may be considered for wellness and broader regeneration-support goals, and local exosome injections placed at the area of concern for orthopedic and pain-management goals — including back, knee, hip, and shoulder. Which route fits is determined at your evaluation.
Is this relevant for my back, knee, hip, shoulder, wound, or wellness goal?
Possibly — that’s exactly what the evaluation is for. We review your concern case by case and tell you plainly whether exosome therapy is an appropriate next step, or whether something else fits better. Eligibility is determined after medical evaluation, not from a web form.
Where do the exosomes come from, and how are they handled?
We use medical-grade Wharton’s Jelly-derived MSC exosomes (hUC-WJ-MSCs) from human umbilical cord tissue, ethically sourced from qualified US donors — not plant-based, adipose, or embryonic. Source, donor screening, processing, storage, preparation, and batch documentation are available for you to review at your consultation.
How is IV exosome therapy different from local injections?
IV exosome therapy is an intravenous route generally considered for wellness and broader regeneration-support goals. Local exosome injections place the treatment directly at the area of concern, for targeted orthopedic and pain-management goals. Your clinician recommends the route based on your goal and evaluation.
How much does it cost, how many sessions, and when might I notice changes?
Cost, session count, and timeline depend on your route, goal, medical history, and follow-up plan — so we don’t post a misleading “starting at” price. You receive a written quote after your evaluation, before any commitment. Any financing or HSA/FSA acceptance is confirmed in writing at your consultation.
Do exosomes “boost the immune system” or treat disease?
We don’t make “immune boost” claims, and we don’t promise a cure for any disease. Exosomes are signaling — we talk about “regeneration” and “support,” not miracle outcomes. Any immune-related or condition-specific language is discussed only with your clinician at evaluation, within what can be responsibly said.
Who supervises the protocol, and what happens afterward?
Every exosome protocol at Skylake is evaluated and overseen by a licensed advanced-practice clinician — you meet them at the consultation. Afterward, our 3-step aftercare promise applies: a 48-hour check-in call, a 2-week progress assessment, and a personalized maintenance plan. We don’t just treat you — we follow through.
Are exosomes FDA-approved, and is this legal in Florida?
There are currently no FDA-approved stem cell or exosome therapies, and the FDA has not approved exosomes for orthopedic or other specific conditions — so we describe exosomes as regenerativesupport, never a cure. Skylake operates in line with the Florida Stem Cell Therapy Act (in effect July 1, 2025), and we do not use embryonic stem cells — our exosomes are derived from ethically sourced umbilical cord Wharton’s Jelly from qualified US donors. As required under Florida law: this physician performs one or more stem cell therapies that have not yet been approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration, and you are encouraged to consult with your primary care provider before undergoing any stem cell therapy.
Is exosome therapy safe? Are there side effects?
Exosome therapy is generally well tolerated when overseen by a licensed clinician. With local injections, most side effects are mild and temporary — such as swelling, redness or discomfort at the injection site. Your clinician reviews your health history, medications and goals first and discusses any risks specific to you. Results vary from person to person.
How do I book?
Easiest: fill the two-field consultation form on this page and we’ll call you back. Otherwise call (305) 735-2022 directly. Our office is at 1380 NE Miami Gardens Dr, Suite 280, North Miami Beach, FL 33179, and a VIP concierge coordinator handles your scheduling end to end.
